  • Innkeeper’s Intuition: Thrane has advantage on Insight and Perception checks related to discerning a patron’s intent or mood.

Personality: Despite his daunting appearance, Thrane is warm and welcoming to all who enter his inn. He has a booming laugh that fills the room and is quick to offer a hearty meal or a strong drink to tired travelers. He is well-liked by the local community for his generous spirit and good humor.

Backstory: Thrane was once a fierce warrior who wandered the land seeking challenges and battles. However, a near-fatal injury led him to seek a quieter life. He stumbled upon the village in his weakened state and was nursed back to health by the locals. During his recovery, he found a new purpose in caring for others. He took over the rundown inn from a retiring innkeeper, transforming it into a welcoming haven. While he no longer seeks out battles, the skills he acquired in his past life ensure that his guests and the inn are well-protected.

Inn Name and Style: The inn is called “The Gentle Giant’s Rest.” It is a cozy establishment with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The inn’s sign depicts a sleeping giant with a peaceful expression. Inside, the fireplace is always lit, casting a comfortable glow on the wooden tables and chairs. It’s known for its comfortable rooms, hearty meals, and the occasional story told by adventurers passing through.
